Hi y'all.  ~clears throat and looks a little embarrassed~   I am just really excited.  Tomorrow is my Birthday!!!!  I will be 5 ~holds up a paw~ 5 whole years old.  I am just about the luckiest boy in the whole world.  I have a Mom who love, love, love's me.  She thinks I am the most wonderful doggy the world, and I certainly will not deny her the pleasure of that thought.  ~psssst, don't tell her about some of the things I do, okay?~

I have the most awesome friends.  I have been blessed to meet some of the most loyal and true friends you would find anywhere.  But where did I meet them?  Right here, Right HERE on the Internets.  Can you believe it?   There is this Brigade of doggies that park there butts over at The Tanner Brigade.  This is a phantasmagorical dog park just chock full of extraordinary doggies.  Perhaps you have met Roly Poly KolyFoley Monster and Pocket Dog?  They are but a few of the miscreants that call the Tanner Brigade home.  There is Miss Fashionista Hattie Mae, the indomitable Brody, the ever cute Miss Lily, and one of the prettiest, sweetest, GSD's you would ever want to meet.  Miss Sierra.  Oh there are too many to name, way to many to name, but their talents are astounding.  Mr. Hobo Hudson, Miss Samoa and Miss Jemima, Sandy, Maggie, Bo, (okay this is where my punk you ate shun gets a little off kilter), Copernicus who is my star gazing friend and who happens to know HOW to use punk you ate shun, oh oh oh and Miss Lauren a cute little thing from across the pond, Miss Cocoa Puff and all the rest.
These doggies who have the abilities to spin a yarn, cook a treat, or offer a hand to a friend are legendary.  Me I am just a Legend in my own mind. ~BOL~

Anyway, I digress.

We have "Secret Bubs" over at TB and we exchange cards and small gifts throughout the year.  I was in dire need of a laugh earlier this week when MY Secret Bub sent me a card that made me clutch my sides and almost fall down the stairs from laughing so hard, thankfully, I stopped just short of doing so.  The vivid mental image they painted with their story was too good not to share with you.  We are supposed to tell each other a bit about each other, so I am going to share their recollection with you.

February 22nd is Walking the Dog Day so I'm going to tell you about one of my first walks.  I started off loving it.  I was a puppy so I was curious about every smell.  I was leading mommy across the whole park.  Every so often I would look back to make sure her leash was still attached (didn't need a lost Mommy).  Anyways, I looked back and there was a GINORMOUS tree folliwng me!!!!  It had attached itself to the leash!  I screamed and tried to run but it followed me!  And guess what?!  Mommy was laughing!! I think it goes without saying, the walk was over BOL!

Oh, I can just see it.  I know my Secret Bub has a nose.  They sent me a picture of it, but they were clear that it could possibly NOT be their nose.  And I know my Secret Bub has a delightful sense of humor.  You are the best my SB, and I can't wait to find out who you are.

~eases the boa off the chair and walks out of the room~ Oh You are the Dancing Queen, Young and sweet, only seventeen, Dancing Queen feel the beat
