~sighs~ Not at my house! Since December the 8th the ground has been covered with snow, snow and more snow. Now another 8 inches on top of all the other mess. I am sick of it, sick,.
~sits down and writes a letter to Mother Nature~
Dear Mother Nature:
Smoochy here. I have a proverbial bone to pick with you. I have been waiting patiently for spring. You decided to dump 14 inches of snow on us in December. That was okay. It was Christmas time and snow is pretty that time of the year. The lights on the houses look especially pretty dancing off the crisp white new fallen snow.
But, this year you have not stopped.
My belly drags on the snow in most parts of the yard. I haven't seen grass in ages. I am not sure I remember what it feels like under my paws. I have watched Mom shovel snow until we have two 8 foot mounds on either side of the driveway. I suppose I could have gone out and carved gargoyles in them. But you would have just snowed on us again and wiped away my handiwork.
Has your biological clock stopped ticking? Are you having an argument with Jack Frost, Old Man Winter? Just exactly what is your problem. I know some good doctors, I am sure one them could diagnosis whatever it is that ails you.
Seek help, and stop dumping all this snow on me or at least spread the wealth. Send some to Phoenix. I am sure they would like some snow.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I tell you.
With Kind Regards,
Smoochy

We had lots of snow in early February then it stopped and now we have none on the ground now and we're very happy about that. I am wishing you lots of melting. Ask the Rainbow Bridge angels to blow some warm air your way. It worked for us
ReplyDeleteWe got a lovely white sprinkling a couple times. It lasted a solid 5 or 6 hours, then melted away ;) You could always move here Smoooch!
